We are looking for a Compliance Assistant Manager to join the UK Education/OCR Compliance Team. This is a varied and interesting role to support the Compliance Team helping to maintain and build public, customer and regulatory confidence in OCR's assessments and processes by expertly triaging and leading the administrative processing of malpractice cases, appeals, complaints and other compliance processes.  This is to ensure we provide high levels of customer service, maintain the integrity of our qualifications and remain compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements     What will you do as a Compliance Assistant Manager?   This role gives the job holder a unique insight into all aspects of OCR's work.  As a Compliance Assistant Manager, you will:
  • Lead a team of officers in the Manila office
  • Lead the investigation of complex and sensitive cases.
  • Takes or signs off decisions on compliance team cases, including Malpractice and Appeals.
  • Writes or signs off the written outcome of the case, ensuring it meets expected standards required for external communication.
  • Manages the planning and delivery of aspects of the high pressure, high stakes compliance team processes to ensure OCR maintains the integrity of its qualifications, is compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements, is successful in operational delivery and is continuously improving. For example, the Assistant Manager may have responsibility for managing cases of particular types or for a particular qualification group or for managing a particular part of the process.
