We are looking for four Compliance Officers to join the UK Education/OCR Compliance Team. This is a varied and interesting role to support the Compliance Team helping to maintain and build public, customer and regulatory confidence in OCR's assessments and processes by expertly triaging and leading the administrative processing of malpractice cases, appeals, complaints and other compliance processes.  This is to ensure we provide high levels of customer service, maintain the integrity of our qualifications and remain compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements     What will you do as a Compliance Officer? This role gives the job holder a unique insight into all aspects of OCR's work.  As a Compliance Officer, you will:
  • Investigate and make decisions on cases of malpractice
  • Liaise with centres to provide and obtain information relating to ongoing malpractice investigations, appeal and compliance cases and their outcomes
  • Ensure key records and documentation are up-to-date for Business Continuity
  • Prepare documentation for committees
  • Act as secretary for the Malpractice Committee, taking minutes of meetings
  • Support Compliance Managers to report on, generate insight from, review and improve the Compliance Team's processes and OCR's customer experience​
  • Support on other compliance team processes as required.

  • A flexible, positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent English communication skills in spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • Experience of managing large volumes of customer communications via email
  • The ability to quickly learn new software and systems and experience of working with all Microsoft Office programmes
  • The ability to manage yourself and your workload effectively whilst working accurately to meet tight deadlines.
  • A strong customer focus and be enthusiastic about improving OCR's customer service.
  • Resilience, the work of the team involves dealing with some sensitive and upsetting cases
  • Experience of minute/note taking
