As a key member of our team, you will design, implement, and manage integration solutions that provides seamless data flows across systems. This role focuses on developing APIs and interfaces on platforms like Mulesoft and AWS, while collaborating with developers across the organization to support best practices in API-led connectivity.   • Support the design and development of data products, services, and platforms with a focus on integration solutions.
  • Implement and maintain accessible integration platforms and managed self-service solutions, ensuring proper maintenance and support of systems within and external to the Data & Integration team.
  • Contribute to the development of APIs and integration layers that enable the business to meet digital challenges and innovate.
  • Ensure data integrity by implementing monitoring and validation processes, upholding high data quality standards, and maintaining smooth, timely data flows across systems.
  •   Technical Collaboration
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and team members to adopt best practices, methodologies, tools, and architectures that enhance integration processes and capabilities.
  • Actively participate in team knowledge sharing, contributing to continuous improvement and learning initiatives.
  •   Communications and relationship building
  • Maintain strong communication with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Assist in gathering and acting on feedback from stakeholders to drive improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.

    Qualification

    What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?   The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post:  
  • University degree in a numeric or technical subject, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in engineering data and integration products and solutions, with a focus on Mulesoft and AWS Technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver technical solutions within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  •   In addition, experience, knowledge or expertise in the following would give you an advantage:
  • API specifications and REST API standards.
  • Mule 4, including data manipulation using DataWeave 2.0.
  • Java, JavaScript or other programming languages.
  • Presenting and modeling data in JSON.
  • Databases: Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
  • AWS Services: Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, Step Functions
