What makes you the ideal candidate in this role?   The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a software development role and have proficient understanding of Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MS SQL, DynamoDB, REST API, microservices, and AWS. The role holder will work closely with the Software Development Chapter Lead taking on additional responsibility or development complexity seen for the level they are at. They will be involved in looking at some of the new technologies and may be asked to review some of the designs and solutions to give their thoughts and feedback. They will act as mentors for the development team members, ensuring all practices and standards defined are understood and followed. In addition, experience, knowledge, or expertise in the following are essential:

Proficiency in version control systems (i.e. GitLab, GitHub)

Collaborative with excellent communication skills

Troubleshooting and debugging skills

Advanced coding and software development skills (Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate)

Experience in AWS (IAM, S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, EB, CloudFormation, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch)
