The BIT International College (BIT-IC), formerly the Bohol Institute of Technology or BIT , is a private, non-sectarian, co-educational tertiary institution of higher learning in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines.
The school was founded by University of Bohol alumnus Atty. Dionisio Balite with his wife Dr. Lilia Balite in 1981.
It offers college courses, primary and secondary education. It is situated along 100 Gallares Street, and has branches in the towns of Talibon, Jagna, and Carmen in Bohol, as well as in the province of Siquijor, and in Butuan City where it is using the trade name Balite Institute of Technology.
The courses offered in BIT International College, formerly the Bohol Institute of Technology were Electronics, Auto Mechanics, Master Electrician, Driving, General Radio Communication Operator’s Course, Bookkeeping, Stenography, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and Special Typing. Now, BIT International College, formerly Bohol Institute of Technology has expanded its course offerings to add Master in Public Administration, Doctor of Philosophy, MBA, master of Arts, Physical Therapy, Radiologic Technology, Bachelor of Laws, Physical Therapy, Midwifery and Engineering courses. BIT International College formerly the Bohol Institute of Technology now also offers elementary and high school education. BIT International College, formerly the Bohol Institute of Technology has excellent feedback from its students, their parents and from the media. Parents of prospective students need not spend more than twenty to thirty thousand pesos annually to get specialized education.
