The Bohol Island State University - Bilar campus is one of the leading satelites of BISU System, first ever established sate university in the island province of Bohol. At present, the system is composed of six campuses namely: Balilihan campus, Bilar Campus, Calape Campus, Clarin Campus, candijay Campus, and Tagbilaran Campus.

        BISU BILAR is the biggest campus in terms of land area with physical roads of 89.53 hectares utilized as follows: 7 hectares campus grounds and roads, 34 hectares farm field crops, 6.9 hectares permanent crops and orchars, 33 hectares backyard and animal pasture, and 15.82 hectares miscellaneous purposes.
