About North South Commuter Railway TAISEI-DMCI Joint Venture
A Taisei Corporation-D.M. Consunji, Inc. Joint Venture (TDJV) which undertakes the civil works of the PNR North South Commuter Railway - CP01, a priority infrastructure project under the Build! Build! Build! Program that aims to speed up the travel time from Manila to Bulacan.
The North South Commuter Railway - CP01 is a priority infrastructure project under the Build! Build! Build! Program of Duterte administration that aims to speed up the travel time from Manila to Bulacan with a convenient and efficient means of transportation. From the current 90 minutes, the NSCR will cut the travel time from Tutuban to Malolos down to 35 minutes. The Department of Transportation (DOTR) is the lead implementing agency, supported by official development assistance from Japanese government through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The Taisei-DMCI Joint Venture (TDJV), formed by Japan’s Taisei Corp. and Philippines’ DM Consunji Inc (DMCI), undertakes the civil works of the project. The NS Tren Consortium is the Engineer-Consultant for the NSCR-CP01.
