Business Analyst
Job Description
Key Qualifications:
• Prior experience: Must have 10 proven track record in implementation team of either (1) standalone GL system or (2) GL module in Finance ERP system in a bank (similar experience in other sectors does not count); Must have experience in Philippines market
• Requirements Gathering: Ability to clearly articulate business requirements, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements then translate these into testable requirements (test cases and test outcomes). Candidate must also be able to collaborate with business units or subject matter experts to understand project objectives, scope and requirements
• Analytical Thinking: Strong solution definition, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make sound decisions under pressure
• Technical and Business Communication: Ability to communicate both in technical language with developers and business language with business partners
• Technical Competency: Excellent understanding of solution development methodologies and application development with high level understanding on financial products and processes
• Presentation and Documentation Skills: Detail-oriented and proficient in the use of presentation and project management tools to deliver reports that highlight key insights or findings
• Collaboration Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across all functional teams, 3rd party and individuals at all levels, ability to work independently and collaborate with teams in completing important projects and major initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop functional requirements and identify the non-functional requirements for the solution architect
•Communicate with business users on the benefits of proposed solutions and any identified gaps in business requirements
•Map product features and out-of-box requirements to the functional requirements
•Conduct fit-gap analysis on products and recommend reasonable working alternatives
•Develop test cases, test plan and test data for the requirements and assist in conducting

Qualification
•Develop end to end delivery plan in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Software, System Integration vendors) and drive execution of the plan
•Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including bank executives, department heads, vendor representatives. Ensure regular communication and manage expectations effectively
•Coordinate with Software and System Integration vendors to ensure that their products and services align with project objectives and timelines. Manage contractual agreements and service level expectations
•Tracking overall progress and making adjustments as needed to keep the delivery on track
•Identify risks and issues, surface them to the program leadership and work with stakeholders to identify and execute mitigation actions
•Regularly update key stakeholders on the progress, risks, issues etc.
