Marketing Technology Specialist
Job Description
Manage Company Websites: Use platforms like WordPress, Squarespace, or similar to maintain and update company websites.Client Collaboration: Work closely with internal marketing teams and external clients to gather requirements, obtain feedback, and present results.Campaign Development and Execution: Create and manage multiple outbound marketing automation campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp, Marketo, Eloqua, Dynamics 365, or similar.MarTech Strategy Consultation: Define and present marketing technology strategies from a marketer’s perspective to leverage technologies for meeting objectives.Lead and Database Management: Oversee lead generation and database management to ensure data integrity and effective targeting.Product and Service Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services.Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in products and solutions beneficial to the company, including technologies like the Microsoft stack.System Configuration: Perform system configurations based on approved requirements.Requirement Translation: Understand client requirements and translate them into system features and solutions.Project Support: Assist the project team in delivering quality system solutions.Client Demos and Presentations: Prepare and conduct client demonstrations and presentations.MarTech Solution Recommendations: Recommend marketing technology solution approaches.Technical Team Support: Help the technical team understand and translate requirements to build appropriate system solutions.Project Management: Assist in enforcing project deadlines and schedules.Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities but not required:
Automation Workflow Design: Design and implement marketing automation workflows to streamline marketing processes. Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing automation campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing to optimise email campaigns and landing pages. Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration of marketing automation platforms with CRM systems and other marketing tools. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all marketing automation activities comply with industry best practices and regulations, such as GDPR.
Qualification
Ideally 2+ years of experience in building or managing websites and email campaigns
Technical Skills: Proficient in creating emails and landing pages, with the ability to read and write HTML if needed
Detail-Oriented: Highly detailed, organised, and results-oriented
Prioritisation and Escalation: Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and escalate issues as required
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Global Experience: Experience in delivering services to global clients is preferred
Marketing Automation Expertise: Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and best practices
