School Approval Officer (4845)

Job Description

We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation, and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.   We are recruiting for a School Approval Officer who will be part of our School Approval Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for accuracy. The School Approval Team is part of the Assessment & Customer Support division in Cambridge International. We work closely with our schools throughout their customer lifecycle, alongside our regional offices based around the world. Our innovative team continually evolves to ensure we get the best for our schools and learners.   Key responsibilities for this role will be to:
  • Maintain accurate school information across multiple systems.
  • Manage access rights per established rules.
  • Supply and store contracts and support materials as required.
  • Liaise globally to advise on School Approval processes.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service within set timescales.
  • Accurately handle financial tasks, including invoices and disputes.
  • Escalate concerns to the Assistant Manager.
  • Foster a culture of growth, innovation, and solution-oriented approaches.

    Qualification

    What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?
  • Degree or equivalent experience in operations/administration.
  • Proficient in data handling, processing, and multi-system communication.
  • C1 or higher English qualification.
  • Excellent IT skills, especially in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Experience or interest in international environments and complex processes.
  • Quick learner, able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, open to feedback and process improvement.
  • Flexible and adaptable to regular changes.
  • Proactive in identifying and solving problems.
