Your development background will be valuable as you help bridge the gap between development and operations teams. With a focus on continuous improvement and learning, you will participate in various aspects of platform operations, from implementing monitoring solutions to contributing to incident response processes.   Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and maintaining automation scripts to improve system efficiency
  • Monitoring platform performance and helping identify potential issues
  • Contributing to incident response under senior guidance
  • Implementing logging and monitoring solutions
  • Participating in code reviews and deployment processes
  • Creating technical documentation
  • Collaborating with development teams to enhance deployment workflows
  • Engaging in continuous learning about cloud technologies and SRE practices

    Qualification

    What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?  
  • You have 1-2 years of software development experience, with a focus on backend development
  • Experience with at least one high-level programming language (such as Python, TypeScript or Go)
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, preferably with some exposure to AWS
  • Familiarity with version control systems (particularly Git) and CI/CD principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for learning new technologies
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Interest in automation and improving system reliability
  • Comfort with data analysis and basic system monitoring concepts
  •   Additional beneficial experiences:
  • Exposure to Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Basic understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker)
  • Experience with any monitoring or logging tools
  • Interest in DevOps practices and methodologies
